Murrah Fowler
Fowler’s Sawmill & Land Services proudly serves Upstate South Carolina and North Carolina, providing professional tree service, forestry mulching, selective timber removal, lot clearing, and custom sawmill services. While the business itself is young, our roots run deep. I am a fourth-generation sawyer, raised on a working farm and around a family-owned sawmill that dates back to my great-grandfather in the 1940s. After high school, I spent 22 years in the U.S. military as a helicopter pilot, flying both Apache and Chinook aircraft, followed by several years as an airline pilot. Aviation and tree work share something critical in common: there is no margin for complacency. Every tree removal is approached with the same discipline, planning, and attention to detail as a complex flight mission, with safety and precision as non-negotiables. As a faith-based, family-run business, we believe in honest work, stewardship of the land, and doing the job right the first time—combining generations of tradition with a professional, safety-driven approach you can trust.
Rylan Fowler
Rylan is a valued member of the Fowler’s Sawmill & Land Services team and is often a customer favorite on job sites. At 24 years old, he brings high energy, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to every project. A former football player and wrestler, Rylan understands teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—qualities that translate directly into demanding field work. He is also an accomplished, award-winning welder, contributing valuable technical skills that support equipment reliability and job efficiency. Highly personable and approachable, Rylan has a natural ability to communicate with clients and ensure they feel confident throughout the process. With a strong appreciation for the outdoors and hands-on work, he is committed to completing every job safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
